The Helen Neufeld Memorial Scholarship was established in 1994 and named in honor of the late Helen Neufeld, an outstanding and inspirational music educator and pioneer of the Orff approach in Manitoba and across Canada.
This award is given to the applicant(s) who best exemplifies Helen's commitment to the philosophies of Carl Orff Canada and her passion for music education.

1) Usually, the award is given to a student(s) taking Orff Level II or III.

Besides the availability of the Helen Neufeld Memorial Scholarship from MOC there is also the Gunild Keetman Scholarship from Carl Orff Canada available for Orff music educators.
